You may not believe this but some people don’t use social media marketing. For many reasons; they are not interested in social media. Some use alternate avenues to market their products or services. The good news is it gives the rest of us more room to work.

In 2020 organic marketing platforms like Facebook and Instagram were the most used affiliate strategies. In this article, I will share 3 simple tips, for using social media marketing to get ahead of your competition.

Step 1. Create a Facebook Profile

There are over 2 billion active users on Facebook compared to other social media sites. You can start here because of its massive following. You can connect with any audience, for any nitch or interest.

Search for groups in your product’s nitch or area of expertise. For example; if your nitch is natural hair care, look for natural hair products, natural hairstyles, natural hair care tips.

Once you’ve joined several groups make sure you read the rules and follow them. By doing so you’ll be taken seriously as a member of the community.

Your focus will be to create value in these groups and the best way to do this is by sharing your experience. This will attract people to want to know more about you and what you have to offer, they will click on your link in your and reach out to you for more information.

Step 2- Expand to Other Platforms With More Stability

Facebook is an in the moment Platform where most posts and live, only show up in your timeline for a few days. This is a problem when it comes to marketing.

Because of this, I would recommend creating content on other platforms like Youtube, Linkendin, and Quora.com. These sites are all free to use and will help you gain exposure while you provide value to your audience.

Note: It’s important to understand the rules of each platform, as well as the rules of the communities within those platforms. Spend some time reading through other people’s posts before you go all out with your own.

Step 3 Test And Evaluate

Once you gained some success, you should evaluate your approach to boost your results. This is where tracking your links are crucial. You’ll want to know which pieces of content are generating the most clicks. You will notice your efforts will start paying off when the same amount of work yields 2X-10X the results you formerly received.
